Custom Sessions with Nashville's Best Pet Photographer
Photographing your pet is something you might only do once, so I strive to capture the personality of your dog or cat with every image. My diverse photographic education allows me to bring a unique and artistic style into my compositions. I will create beautiful and contemporary photos that highlight everything you love about the furry member of your family. Our pets grow so fast, and the time we get to spend with them is limited. A custom pet photography session ensures memories will live on long after your loyal friend has gone.
Our worlds revolve around our furry companions. I have 5 dogs at home, and can't imagine my life without them. I know how important they are to you. They're family. I'll make sure your pets are safe, comfortable and having fun during your session! (And you'll have lots of fun, too!)
Animal Experience
I am very fortunate to spend the majority of my time photographing animals. I currently work as the Official Photographer and Photography Teacher for the Nashville Zoo, where I've been teaching animal photography classes and private photography lessons since 2012. I'm also the Photojournalist for Animal Rescue Corps, an international animal protection organization based out of Washington, DC. I photograph our animal rescue operations which have included hoarding cases, puppy mills, dog fighting rings and natural disasters. I received my B.S. in Photography from Middle Tennessee State University. In addition to my formal education, I spent a year working as the assistant to wildlife photographer Christian Sperka, where I received extensive training in animal photography and animal behavior.
I was voted Nashville's "Best Photographer" in the Nashville Scene 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 Best of Nashville Readers' Poll. I am a proud photography partner for the PEDIGREE Foundation, and my pet photography has been featured internationally with USA Today, Animal Planet, Huffington Post, The Dodo, BISSELL Pet Foundation, PetSmart Charities, and the Petco Foundation. My pet portraits have also been published in Rolling Stone, The Bark, Everydog, and Animal Wellness magazines.
